Gatekeeper of Tartarus

Character Design Study:

Taken from his homeland and brought to Crete for gladiatorial entertainment, a fierce creature eamed a final chance at freedom: enter the Labyrinth and slay the Minotaur. He fought through its depths and, after a brutal battle, emerged victorious but mortally wounded. As he lay dying, he realized the challenge had been nothing more than a selfish ruler's deception. Witnessing his courage and sacrifice, the gods intervened. Though he could never return home, they granted him a new purpose to serve as the eternal gatekeeper of Tartarus.
