Megafauna: Oxydrus

The product of human intervention after experimenting on organisms that are known to survive extreme environments. After the success of Space X to Mars, NASA lost contact with the first colony that housed such organisms in their cargo. The colony that would follow sent a distress call that would reveal the existence of the mega fauna that now inhabited the red planet and the folly of human bio-engineering.

Creature I designed Gnomon for Jared Krichevsky Creature Modeling and Sculpting class under the theme: “Galactic Zoo.” It was an amazing learning experience from a great instructor and I am happy to have worked on it for my Demo Reel under the guidance of Ben Lee.
